My favorite way I’ve raised money for Charity Ball is through carolling. Nothing is better than spreading Christmas cheer while benefiting the Raleigh community by raising money for amazing nonprofits like CASA. As a senior executive member on Enloe Student Council, some of my most best memories of working for Enloe Charity Ball have been caroling.
Though I am certainly not the best singer, Enloe Charity Ball’s ability to work together as a group of compassionate individuals makes caroling fantastic and truly inspiring. One thing I will miss about Enloe Charity Ball out of the many things will undoubtedly be caroling, but more than anything, I will miss the fantastic people I’ve been surrounded by.
Through Enloe, I have seen firsthand the positive impact organizations like CASA have on reducing homelessness, helping people get on their feet, and providing people with housing and support. My parents have always taught me to be thoughtful and considerate of the problems people face. Enloe has continued to grow my empathy for others’ obstacles. Through Enloe Charity Ball, I have been able to act on my compassion for others to better people’s lives in the Raleigh community. Thank you, Enloe Charity Ball!
